i’m carving for some pumpkin!
we are finally going to get on the ball with our blog! we went to a fabulous pumpkin carving party hosted by our friends denise and derek lord. i guess we just had such an amazing time that we were inspired to work on our blog and create our first post. denise is such a wonderful hostess. she had a spread of festive treats, and she even provided large tea light candles so that our pumpkins could light up nicely.
it was my first time carving a pumpkin. i’m sure my family did it, but i never actually did the carving, probably for my own safety, so this night was a very momentous occasion for me. everyone did such a great job and we all had a blast. thank you so much to denise and derek for making such a fun night happen. we had fun and can’t wait to do it again next year! here are some photos from the night. once we figure out how to make a section for albums, i’ll put them all on our blog! i love the blog life!

Wow!! Great site! Welcome to the Blog life…. the pumpkins were really neat and it looks like you guys had a good time. We miss you both, and the Chandlers. And hope to see all of you soon. Can’t wait for next weekend… it will be a pampered blast!
