what a great holiday! having a baby just makes every moment greater and more precious because you are sharing it with your child. this thanksgiving we were of course so thankful for our little baby, siriana. she’s been amazing and just growing up so much. we had some great visits with our families (some of which she had never met!). two weeks before thanksgiving, we got to visit with mamaw baines on her birthday, which was very special. siriana really enjoyed being held by her. then the weekend before thanksgiving, my brother and anna announced that they are having a baby!!! (see their blog to see the ultrasound, and see my parents blog for pictures from that weekend; we forgot our camera). we are so excited for them… and i am super excited that siriana will grow up with her cousin, starbuck (the baby’s nickname). then, we did about a week of traveling. siri was awesome!! her sleeping got a little off during the day, but she let mommy and daddy sleep great at night to make up for it. siriana also got to be our assistant for the first time at a bridal shoot in st. francisville on a beautiful plantation. thanks for letting her tag along, rachel… we had fun, and you are amazingly gorgeous! anyway, we had a wonderful thanksgiving. we only wish we could have visited everyone we saw longer!

Wow, I love the pics with the tree and with her soo happy smile, they’re really neat. All I could think about after the shoot was how sad I was that I didn’t get to play with Siri!!!!! She was so good, mom and Ruthie were very impressed. Mom loves you guys and so do I!

ok.. I was only taking a break.. but there is no escape when every table has a camera on it! Siriana is going to be model material.. growing up in the lens of the camera.. what a natural.

We want a printed picture of “SIriana laughing at her buddy” That was is sooooo cute… definitely fridge worthy. (but then, what picutre isn’t) See you guys in a week. The year is fastly drawing to a close. Craziness! We love you.
