last week, i had the great pleasure of starting to nanny posey, kelly moore’s baby girl. she is about three and a half weeks younger than siri, is about half her size and has about three times as much hair. it’s so funny how different two babies can be. it’s an awesome, amazing job. kelly and i have been friends for a while now and i’m so happy to not only be having kids at the same time, but to be having our kids hang out often. i’ve had so much fun that i’ve decided to start a series of blogs about their time together. we laugh, we cry, we read books, we sing songs… it’s an adventure every day we are together.
siri: “hey girlfriend, i’m so glad you came over.”
posey: “thi’m tho hapthy tho ve here.”
posey: “oh, now i can talk without that darned paci.”
siri: “shhhh… this is my favorite book, po.”
posey: “hahaha. that was a funny book, but now let’s go have some fuuuuunnn.”
posey: “la, la, la, la, la….”
siri: “this is your idea of fun?”
posey: “well, you can put a paci in it.”
siri: “thhey, thi’m thorry, thi thove you.”
posey: “ummm… so, how much do you like not being in a uterus right now?”
siri: “wow. how do you have so much hair?”
posey: “oh darling, thank you… i do get a little wind blown at times, but the bows are so posh, don’t you think?!”
siri: “yep, you’re pretty, osh posh bgosh.”
siri: “do you want to play a game?”
posey: “oh, siri, don’t you know i’m drunk off of my baby formula.”
siri: “oh no, mommy! she said the ‘f’ word!”
mommy: “now siriana, don’t judge. she may not like to hear the ‘b’ word when it comes time for you to eat.”
posey: “zzzzzzzzz.”
siri: “what a day. i love my new best friend. since i can’t blow kisses yet, i’ll just blow bubbles to her.”
