welcoming julian joss kilpatrick
tuesday was our due date and we have a beautiful son at home who is five days old! julian joss kilpatrick was born on april 4, 2009 at 10:32 am (so he was born on 4-4… and his sister was born on 9-9… God must have known that their daddy needed something easy to remember) and he weighed 9 lbs 11 ozs and was 22 inches long! we are so happy to be home with our son and daughter. we are going through the normal first days adjustments… getting him on a good sleeping schedule and getting enough rest ourselves! he’s a sweet baby who eats a lot. he had a doctor’s appointment today, to make sure he’s gaining enough and doing well… and unlike his sister, it was obvious to the pediatrician that he is a good eater. he’s up to 9 lbs 7 ozs… so only four days and he’s almost back up to his birth weight! i am recovering fine… with a lot of help from britton and my mom. siriana is the best big sister we could ask for. she says julian and brother all the time wanting to see him or hold him or kiss him. he was fussing a little in his pack n play today and she ran to her room to give him a paci! it was adorable! anyway, keep praying for our family, that we’ll find a routine and that my pain will be gone soon! thanks to everyone who came to the hospital to be there for his birth and who visited in the days we were there. you all mean so much to us!

So Cute! I really can’t tell who he looks like. But, I’m not too good at that sort of thing. I’ll probably comment on individual picture on Facebook when I have time. Right now I have to go write dischare orders…. just wanted to see some cute baby pictures of Julian during my lunch time! Can’t wait to see him and Siri again, hopefully soon!
